Hermès seeks a Part‑time Retail Sales Advisor in Marseille — fixed-term contract to April 2026, Tue pm/Wed/Thu. Fluency in English required.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver an exceptional, personalised client experience by warmly receiving customers, listening to needs, and tailoring recommendations to client profiles.
  • Present and promote the craftsmanship and story of Hermès creations across categories (leather, fashion, beauty, home, watches, jewellery).
  • Drive sales through consultative selling, cross-selling complementary items and closing transactions.
  • Maintain high standards of professional presentation and adapt behaviour to the Hermès environment and multicultural clientele.
  • Support daily store operations and merchandising tasks, including unpacking, labelling, product replenishment and upkeep of the sales floor.
  • Foster team cohesion by sharing enthusiasm, supporting colleagues and contributing to a collaborative work atmosphere.

Qualifications

  • Baccalauréat +2 (Bac +2) or equivalent vocational diploma, or demonstrable proven sales experience.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in retail sales, preferably in luxury or premium brands.
  • Fluent English (Anglais courant) is mandatory.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, commercial drive and a strong appetite for targets and challenges.
  • Professional presentation and sensitivity to craftsmanship and brand identity.
