Hermès seeks a Retail Performance and Merchandising Assistant intern for a six-month, full-time placement beginning in the first half of 2027, based in Pantin. Within the Silk Division, the role supports sales and stock analysis, Area Managers, and the preparation and operation of showroom buying events.
Role & Responsibilities
- Analyse sales and stock levels weekly.
- Produce ad hoc reports as needed, including for travel, business reviews and management reviews.
- Participate in the monthly business review.
- Deploy seasonal replenishment and manage available stock.
- Relay information about production changes.
- Analyse deliveries by design and colour, and optimise transfers between markets.
- Prepare collection and product-performance reviews, including podium reviews and rankings by reference.
- Work closely with Area Managers and the Métier Identity team to develop training and guidelines for boutique teams in connection with Area Managers’ travel.
- Before the showroom buying event, prepare sales-support materials, including the collection plan, price pyramid and delivery schedules, and help install the stand.
- During the showroom buying event, support teams in buyer appointments, collect and formalise feedback, and coordinate the stand’s daily operations.
- After the showroom buying event, help dismantle the stand, conduct inventory and analyse post-event results.
Qualifications
- Bac+4/5 business-school education or an equivalent university background.
- Strong interest in figures, analysis and product.
- Excellent command of Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluent English and French.
- Rigour, organisational skills, autonomy, strong interpersonal skills and adaptability.
