Role & Responsibilities

  • Conduct frequent store visits to acquire deep product expertise, analyse customer feedback, and identify emerging market trends
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance through quantitative metrics and qualitative feedback from regional stores
  • Undertake detailed business analyses to identify opportunities and mitigate risks in retail operations
  • Develop and execute action plans collaboratively with Retail, Training, Customer Service, and Métiers teams to achieve growth ambitions
  • Plan and facilitate product feedback sessions and métier circles with brand ambassadors to gather insights for buying cycles
  • Work closely with the Retail Merchandising Director to maintain and update sales forecasts aligned with business strategy
  • Collaborate on Open-To-Buy (OTB) definition for stores in alignment with subsidiary and European strategy and current-year stock objectives
  • Monitor and control reorders to maintain budgeted inventory levels and optimize product availability
  • Propose strategic buying recommendations ensuring balanced assortments between new products and bestsellers while addressing store-specific customer needs
  • Monitor Point-of-Sale Inventory (PSI) and replenishment in coordination with the Planning team, recommending adjustments based on sales performance and retail constraints
  • Support new product launches through coordination with Training, Visual Merchandising, and Communications teams
  • Work with the Visual Merchandising team to optimize product visibility, ensure store coherence, and highlight key items aligned with business priorities
  • Contribute to the success of in-store animations and events by securing product assortments, liaising with Customer Service, collaborating on visual plans, and equipping retail teams with support tools
  • Manage product distribution across the region through strategic transfers and replenishment to optimize sales and inventory efficiency
  • Collaborate with Training teams to develop and deliver in-store briefings for key products
  • Share and implement European strategy locally while identifying and promoting best practices from the broader community
  • Act as the primary liaison between retail stores and Métiers teams, facilitating the exchange of feedback and strategic information

Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of proven retail merchandising, buying, or related experience within a retail or luxury environment
  • Highly analytical with exceptional organisational and presentation capabilities
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel with demonstrated data analysis expertise
  • Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively with retail teams and cross-functional corporate departments
  • Capacity to undertake detailed analysis while synthesising findings into concise, action-oriented recommendations for stakeholders
  • Business-oriented and service-focused mindset with proactive approach to task execution and problem-solving
  • Strong interpersonal skills and natural team player mentality
