The Retail Merchandising Intern will assist the Product Offering and Retail Merchandising team in managing product assortment across 10 stores located in Switzerland, Poland, and the Czech Republic. Key responsibilities encompass analysis of sales performance metrics, tracking new collection launches, optimizing stock levels across locations, and supporting the buying and replenishment functions with data-driven insights.
Role & Responsibilities
- Update monthly sell-through rates and sales velocity metrics for all product lines across the retail network
- Analyze subsidiary performance and maintain tracking files for sales and inventory by collection and department, identifying best sellers, slow movers, and product family performance
- Prepare annual sales performance reports and maintain comprehensive sales documentation
- Monitor delivery of new collections and products to stores, ensuring timely distribution and proper stock allocation
- Share collection information and new product communications with stores and headquarters
- Track performance metrics of new product launches and provide regular updates to the merchandising team
- Maintain and distribute product launch calendar to all stakeholders
- Propose weekly stock transfers between central warehouse and retail locations based on demand analysis
- Recommend inventory rebalancing between store locations and monitor transfer execution
- Manage and track customer orders with timely follow-up and fulfillment coordination
- Propose stock replenishment recommendations to prevent stockouts
- Prepare analyses and supporting documentation for buying sessions across product departments
- Compile and organize buyer briefing documents and assist with purchase order review
- Prepare and distribute monthly Product Offering newsletter to stores and headquarters
Qualifications
- Excellent proficiency in computer applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical capability with attention to data accuracy and quality
- Results-oriented mindset with demonstrated commitment to excellence
- Collaborative approach with strong service orientation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in French and English

Experience
A minimum of 6 months of prior internship experience is preferred to support this role.
Education
Currently enrolled in or recently completed a program in Retail Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
