Hermès internship: Retail Merchandiser Assistant in Paris. 6-month role in Duty-Free sales support across Europe, Middle East, and US.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure reliability and continuous enrichment of performance data across the Duty-Free network for Europe, Middle East, and US regions
- Manage sell-in data including annual evolution of budgetary tracking tools, updates to reports on permanent inventory billing, and maintenance of order-to-buy (OTB) tracking, purchase mix, and quotas
- Conduct post-purchase analysis including evaluation of product novelty mix, bestseller weighting, and purchase concentration patterns
- Produce monthly sell-out reports and update key performance indicators including revenue, product category performance, sell-through metrics, and permanent inventory levels
- Optimize inventory through seasonal clearance analysis, incentive tracking, and consolidation of reassortment and transfer offers
- Develop ad-hoc analyses in preparation for purchasing decisions and strategic events, including business review preparation for podium purchases
Qualifications
- University degree or business school graduate
- Mastery of Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI experience is a plus
- Rigorous, organized approach with strong affinity for numerical data and analytical capabilities
- Team-oriented mindset with curiosity and adaptability in cross-functional collaboration
- Fluent English proficiency, both written and spoken
