Hermès Middle East is hiring a Retail Data Analyst in Dubai to deliver customer and retail performance analytics across the region's stores.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain dashboards and reports that surface retail performance and customer behaviour (client journey, spending patterns, conversion, UPT, average basket).
- Collaborate with Group and Europe Data Analytics teams to enrich regional dashboards and align KPIs and methodologies.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency and reliability through robust validation processes and regular monitoring of customer databases.
- Translate business requirements from retail, CRM and management teams into actionable specifications for new dashboards and ad-hoc analyses.
- Deliver customer knowledge for the subsidiary by producing segmentation, profiling and CRM analyses to support targeting and service strategies.
- Monitor emerging client behaviours, market trends and competitive activity to identify opportunities and risks for the region.
- Provide regular retail performance analysis (weekly/monthly) and propose data‑driven recommendations and action plans.
- Develop training assets and promote best practices for customer data capture and CRM usage within retail teams.
- Contribute to business reviews, strategic committees and management presentations with clear, data-backed narratives.
Qualifications
- Master's degree (Bac +5) in Engineering, Science, Data Analysis, Computer Science or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar analytics role, preferably within retail or luxury retail.
- Solid foundation in statistical methodologies and behavioural analysis.
- Proven proficiency in SQL and Python; experience with BI and visualization tools.
- Strong analytical reasoning with the ability to synthesise complex datasets into concise recommendations.
- Customer- and business-oriented mindset, with discretion and respect for confidentiality.
- Curiosity, adaptability and proven team collaboration skills.
- Fluent spoken and written English required; Arabic and French are advantageous.

Experience
Minimum 3 to 5 years in a comparable data analytics role, ideally within retail or luxury retail, with demonstrable experience in customer analytics, reporting and dashboarding.
Education
Master's degree (Bac +5) in Engineering, Science, Data Analysis, Computer Science or a closely related discipline.
