Hermès Maison in Pantin seeks a Regulatory Affairs Officer to lead product compliance and regulatory strategy across four product families. Full-time, permanent position.
Role & Responsibilities
- Serve as primary liaison with national federations, associations, and regulatory bodies across furniture, textile, decorative object, and lighting segments
- Pilot, coordinate, and disseminate regulatory, customs, normative, and environmental surveillance (both national and international) to ensure product and material compliance and anticipate regulatory changes
- Conduct regulatory and normative research in advance of product development projects; deliver tailored restitution and concrete strategic recommendations to technical development teams
- Participate in and represent Hermès Maison within Hermès Group internal working groups on product safety, regulatory surveillance, and cross-functional initiatives
- Interact internally with technical development, sustainability (RSE), collection, supply chain, and commercial teams; maintain regular relations with international subsidiary counterparts and cross-functional group departments including customs, sustainability, and industrial divisions
Qualifications
- Diploma in a technical discipline (chemistry, quality management, HSE) or law/regulatory affairs
- Minimum 6 years of professional experience in quality management, HSE, customs, or regulatory affairs
- Proficiency in project management and information systems
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Fluent English; Italian language proficiency is desirable

Experience
Minimum 6 years of demonstrated experience in quality management, occupational health and safety (HSE), customs, or regulatory affairs, preferably within a luxury goods, home furnishings, or consumer products environment. Experience with cross-functional project management and coordination across complex organizational structures is essential.
Education
Diploma in a technical discipline such as chemistry, quality management, or health, safety, and environment (HSE); or a qualification in law, legal studies, or regulatory affairs. Advanced degree or specialized certification in regulatory affairs or product compliance is advantageous.
