Hermès Parfum Beauté seeks a six-month Regulatory Affairs Intern in Paris to support cosmetic product compliance and EU regulatory submissions.
Role & Responsibilities
- Compile cosmetic product information dossiers according to EU Regulation 1223/2009, including raw materials, fragrance concentrates, finished products, test reports, and safety evaluations
- Qualify raw materials, concentrates, and formulas against IFRA standards, EU Regulation 1223/2009, and international regulations (China, Asia, USA, Middle East)
- Collect toxicological data from raw materials to meet Chinese regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with toxicologists on the drafting and validation of safety assessments
- Prepare regulatory documentation including ingredient lists, IFRA certificates, allergen declarations, and certifications
- Validate decorative materials and marketing support documentation for regulatory compliance
- Process export notifications and registrations for cosmetic products across target markets
- Maintain liaison with Purchasing, Research & Development, Packaging, Marketing, and sales teams on regulatory matters
- Monitor regulatory changes and updates across relevant markets
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Pharmacy, Master's, or engineering programme with specialization in chemistry, biology, toxicology, regulatory affairs, or cosmetics
- Strong knowledge of European and international cosmetic regulations
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills with capacity for synthesis and adaptation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Minimum B1-level English proficiency

Education
Currently pursuing a Pharmacy degree, Master's programme, or engineering qualification with specialization in chemistry, biology, toxicology, regulatory affairs, or cosmetics.
