Hermès seeks a Regional Sales Manager in Pantin to drive IoT métier (Apple Watch Hermès) commercial growth, market development, and collection launches.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with procurement officers at subsidiary offices and store directors; identify market needs and commercial opportunities, proposing proactive market-adapted solutions including inventory transfers, restocking, and promotional campaigns
- Conduct pre-collection sales and seasonal reviews in collaboration with business analysts to inform buying briefs and coordinate objectives across geographic and product scopes
- Coordinate Podium (collection presentation) forecasting with cross-functional Distribution and Development Operations (DDO) team members to establish realistic sales targets
- Facilitate and animate collection sales sessions; accompany assigned zones through buying processes; validate regional orders at the appropriate organizational level (boutique, country) and by product category (Apple Watch Hermès, Technocraft)
- Build and refine purchasing aids and review tools to enhance buyer preparation and decision-making during sales sessions
- Analyze category and product performance; synthesize qualitative market feedback to identify commercial drivers and impediments
- Conduct in-market visits between selling periods to support activity development aligned with métier strategy and commercial priorities; implement tactical action plans to optimize retail sales performance and address inventory challenges (slow movers, stockouts, delays)
- Ensure accountability for key commercial milestones (year-end reviews, end-of-series reviews, Apple–Hermès business reviews) in partnership with the Commercial Manager
- Facilitate monthly performance reporting and analytics distribution across métier teams
- Provide quantitative and qualitative recommendations to product development and collection teams based on market insights
- Collaborate on merchandising plan definition to balance production and budgetary constraints with commercial opportunities; champion métier priorities with central supply chain teams
- Monitor collection launches in partnership with business analysts; coordinate launch-readiness needs with IDM (Métier Development) teams
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in merchandising, sales, or comparable commercial roles demonstrating strong market acumen and product sensitivity
- Demonstrated analytical capability, attention to detail, and aptitude for synthesizing complex data into actionable insights
- Autonomous, methodical, and well-organized with the ability to balance operational execution and strategic thinking
- Excellent adaptability, communication skills, and stakeholder management abilities in complex, cross-functional environments
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken) to support daily communication across markets and multi-regional teams
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in merchandising, sales, or equivalent commercial disciplines within luxury retail or related industries, with demonstrated expertise in market development, product strategy, and stakeholder relationship management.
Education
Bachelor's degree in business, commerce, marketing, or related discipline (or equivalent professional credential and demonstrated expertise).
