Hermès Singapore seeks a Junior Legal Counsel for a 12-month international assignment supporting nine Southeast Asian markets.
Role & Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and manage contracts, NDAs, concession agreements, and real estate documentation with meticulous attention to detail
- Maintain and update the contracts database, templates, and internal legal policies across regional markets
- Support the organisation of Board meetings, Annual General Meetings, and corporate secretarial processes
- Coordinate and implement regional compliance programmes in data protection, anti-corruption, and anti-money laundering
- Liaise with external legal counsel and provide ad hoc legal support to internal business stakeholders
- Contribute to the design and delivery of legal and compliance training initiatives across local markets
Qualifications
- Qualified law degree or equivalent legal qualification
- First practical experience in a law firm or in-house legal environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and French
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and precision

Minimum one year of practical legal experience in a law firm or corporate legal environment.
Education
Qualified law degree (JD, LLB, or equivalent).
