Hermès International — Paris: Real Estate Procurement Apprentice (apprenticeship) supporting supplier data, contracts and cost analysis (12-month, start Sep 2026).

Role & Responsibilities

  • Maintain, cleanse and enrich supplier databases and project cost repositories (retail, production, corporate).
  • Validate data quality and ensure consistency across supplier and cost records.
  • Collect, consolidate and analyse supplier information (CSR metrics, financials, turnover) and monitor supplier evaluations such as EcoVadis.
  • Support supplier risk assessments, qualification of new suppliers and follow-up of corrective action plans.
  • Assist in ensuring contractual compliance for supplier framework agreements and contribute to the development of purchasing documentation.
  • Support cost analysis and bid evaluation during requests for proposals; prepare comparative analyses and recommendations to optimise budgets.
  • Provide operational support to the Head of Purchasing during supplier consultations and negotiations.
  • Prepare internal and external communication materials to promote Purchasing practices and build a purchasing culture within the Real Estate & Operations organisation.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bac+4/5 (Master’s level) business school or engineering programme with a specialisation in Purchasing/Procurement.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and confident use of Microsoft Office.
  • Good understanding of CSR issues and strong environmental awareness.
  • Analytical mindset, numerical fluency, rigour, organisational skills and intellectual curiosity.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to be proactive and to present clear recommendations.
  • Available for a 12-month apprenticeship (preferred rhythm: 3 days school/2 days company or 1 week school/3 weeks company) starting September 2026.

Experience

Open to beginners; suitable for students in their final years of a Master’s programme. Prior internships or exposure to purchasing, procurement or supplier management are advantageous but not mandatory.

Education

Master’s level in progress (Bac+4/5) from a business school or engineering school with a focus on Purchasing/Procurement.
