Hermès International seeks a Real Estate Operations Manager in Paris to lead construction, renovation and property projects for the Group.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and arbitrate the operational execution of real estate projects (construction, renovation, extension) across offices, production sites and stores, ensuring adherence to quality, schedule and budgetary objectives.
  • Plan and coordinate project timelines, suppliers and internal/external resources to secure project delivery in line with Group standards.
  • Advise and support subsidiaries and internal stakeholders to embed the Group’s real estate culture and improve project performance (supplier sourcing and evaluation, environmental considerations, cost analysis and database maintenance).
  • Animate and develop the internal real estate network and partner community by defining best practices, evaluating external providers and organising regular knowledge‑sharing forums.
  • Collaborate closely with Direction des Actifs et du Développement and the Transformation team on site selection, environmental performance and architectural quality of projects.
  • Manage multidisciplinary, international teams of external consultants and contractors and ensure effective stakeholder communication; travel regularly in France and internationally as required.

Qualifications

  • Technical or engineering degree (technical diploma / engineer background).
  • Minimum of 10 years’ professional experience in a design office, corporate environment or equivalent owner’s project management role, with responsibility for construction and renovation projects.
  • Professional working proficiency in English; international project experience is a plus.
  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, exercise sound decision-making and demonstrate diplomatic stakeholder management.
  • Strong organisational rigour, anticipation skills, reactivity and demonstrated leadership in project delivery.

Experience

At least 10 years of experience in real estate project delivery, preferably in a bureau d'études, construction firm or owner’s project management role, with a track record of managing complex construction, renovation and fit-out programmes.

Education

Technical qualification or engineering degree.
