Hermès Maroquinerie-Sellerie seeks a Quality Control Assistant for a six-month full-time internship beginning February 2027 in Saint-Priest. The intern will clarify and improve quality control methods and criteria for metallic components used in the manufacture of leather goods and accessories, including the drafting and refinement of inspection specification sheets, formalization of best-practice control procedures, standardization of quality benchmarks, and coordination of the jewelry reference network.
Role & Responsibilities
- Draft and refine technical inspection specification sheets for metallic components, incorporating technical drawings, product specifications, risk analysis results, and operational feedback
- Document and formalize best-practice quality control procedures through written protocols, video tutorials, and other training materials to support onboarding of new team members
- Clarify and standardize quality criteria across metallic materials used in production
- Organize and facilitate meetings of the jewelry reference network to share expertise and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (Bac +4) or Master's degree (Bac +5) in a technical discipline
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and VBA
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Valid driver's license and access to personal transportation
Skills
Experience
Prior internship or work experience in Quality, Methods, or Production environments is advantageous; however, beginners are accepted.
Education
Bac +4 to Bac +5 (Bachelor's to Master's level) with a technical specialization.
