Hermès: 6-month internship in Quality Assurance for Leather & Components, Pantin. Begin September 2026.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Participate in quality risk reviews for leather and component materials during the development phase
  • Update risk tracking matrices and quality key performance indicators
  • Support consolidated quality risk monitoring for finished products in collaboration with the Materials Quality team
  • Assist with pre-series quality control inspections
  • Update and maintain seasonal and permanent component quality standards
  • Collect and verify laboratory test results from tanneries against specifications and defined testing frequencies
  • Create and maintain quality control inspection forms for distribution to logistics partners
  • Monitor and manage quality anomalies identified during inspections
  • Contribute to the development of monthly supplier performance indicators and associated reporting
  • Attend weekly supplier meetings and coordination sessions
  • Conduct comparative analysis between wear testing results and laboratory testing results to evaluate protocol effectiveness
  • Support dedicated research initiatives on leather maintenance and care protocols

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree + 4-5 years or equivalent (ideally from an engineering school specializing in textiles or leather such as ENSAIT, ITECH, or HEI)
  • Rigor, curiosity, and dynamic approach with strong organizational capabilities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams
  • Proactive mindset with genuine commitment to continuous improvement
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite – Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
