Hermès (SIEGL) in Le Grand-Lemps seeks a Quality & Continuous Improvement Engineer to oversee inkjet textile quality and process improvements.
Role & Responsibilities
- Collect and formalize customer quality requirements for inkjet-printed textile products, working closely with product quality managers.
- Ensure product conformity and robustness of associated inkjet manufacturing processes across the site.
- Contribute to risk analysis during industrialization and validate product conformity through development phases to GO PROD; feed lessons learned into subsequent developments.
- Support workshop managers in root-cause analysis and resolution of quality incidents affecting inkjet product lines.
- Define, deploy and animate surveillance plans; monitor performance and trigger alerts in case of drift.
- Support production teams in implementing continuous improvement methodologies to raise reliability and quality performance.
- Drive and coordinate production alerts and corrective actions for assigned product lines.
- Participate in defining and deploying the site quality policy and animate daily/weekly quality governance in workshops via meetings and dynamic visual management.
- Represent the site in cross-factory / cross‑filière quality working groups and contribute to shared best practices.
Qualifications
- Engineering degree from a recognised école d’ingénieur or equivalent technical higher education.
- Minimum 6 years' professional experience in quality, continuous improvement or manufacturing processes (industrial environment).
- Proven experience leading project groups and cross-functional improvement initiatives.
- Strong familiarity with quality tools and methodologies; prior exposure to industrial risk analysis and product validation.
- Knowledge of textile processes is a significant advantage.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 6 years' experience in quality, continuous improvement or process roles within an industrial/manufacturing environment; demonstrable experience in piloting project groups and supporting production on quality issues. Prior experience in textile or printing processes is strongly desirable.
Education
Engineering degree (école d’ingénieur) or equivalent technical higher education.
