Role & Responsibilities

  • Source, reference and manage competent partners for manufacturing Hermès components and products
  • Animate the company's supplier network and foster enduring relationships while maintaining optimal economic conditions for all parties
  • Ensure procurement security through comprehensive knowledge of selected partners, including financial health, governance, interdependency, and competitive positioning
  • Develop cost estimation sheets for new items and secure procurement commitments for all necessary components
  • Manage supplier investments required for product manufacturing and tooling
  • Lead market allocation following tender procedures
  • Draft and activate necessary contracts in accordance with specifications provided by various departments
  • Monitor and control invoicing for ancillary costs, investments, and components/services within assigned responsibility areas
  • Support the supply team in managing delivery delays and non-compliance issues
  • Support quality teams in managing quality incidents as required
  • Track accounting events related to supplier invoicing disputes
  • Participate in regular exchanges with catalog buyers to determine supplier panel selections and declare market attributions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with specialized focus in Procurement (Bac +4 to Bac +5 equivalent)
  • Minimum 5 years of significant experience in a Project Procurement function
  • Advanced proficiency with office software and ERP systems
  • Comprehensive knowledge of procurement processes

Education

Bachelor's degree (Bac +4) to Master's degree (Bac +5) with specialization in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or related field. Additional certifications in procurement or supply chain management are advantageous.
