Hermès seeks a Project Manager for Zero Plastic & Responsible Procurement (fixed-term contract) in Le Pré-Saint-Gervais, France.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate operational support for the Hermès group-wide unnecessary single-use plastic elimination project, including facilitation of the plastic network and dedicated thematic plastic committees
  • Engage with innovative solution providers and operational teams to develop, test, and validate prototype solutions to replace single-use plastics
  • Conduct innovation and regulatory monitoring related to plastic reduction and sustainable procurement initiatives
  • Establish and track key performance indicators for project reporting and group-level sustainability metrics (CSRD compliance)
  • Lead supplier CSR assessment campaigns within indirect procurement and monitor corrective action plans with procurement teams
  • Improve data quality processes to support KPI development and supplier performance evaluation
  • Support deployment of the Hermès directory of committed and inclusive suppliers in the protected and adapted work sectors
  • Accompany Packaging, Printing, and Store Fixture teams on carbon footprint reduction roadmaps
  • Contribute to the development of KPIs for zero plastic and responsible procurement objectives
  • Collect and consolidate data for group reporting on responsible procurement topics, including carbon accounting and CSRD disclosures

Qualifications

  • Graduate degree from a business school or engineering program with specialization in sustainable development
  • 2–3 years of experience leading cross-functional projects within large, complex organizations
  • Strong expertise and demonstrated passion for sustainable development and corporate social responsibility
  • Proficiency in cross-functional project management and change enablement
  • Excellent organizational skills, autonomy, and ability to manage planning and competing priorities
  • Proven capability to align and mobilize diverse stakeholders around cultural transformation initiatives
  • Ability to adapt communication style for diverse audiences and presentation contexts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluency in French and English
