Hermès Horizons is seeking a Project Management Assistant Intern for a six-month, full-time internship starting in February 2027 in Pantin. Reporting to a project manager, the intern will support bespoke design and interior-fit-out projects for aircraft, cars, boats and other forms of transport, coordinate project activities across design, development, production, procurement and logistics, and contribute to process improvement.
Role & Responsibilities
- Frame and organize projects, including the team, scope, budget tracking, roles and responsibilities.
- Coordinate project stakeholders.
- Manage project schedules and lead weekly project reviews.
- Relay information and alerts to the relevant internal teams.
- Support the design team throughout the creative process.
- Develop a risk analysis plan.
- Manage the development of new components in line with quality requirements.
- Cost projects and products and prepare quotations.
- Prepare specifications for external purchasing with project stakeholders.
- Launch component production with partner companies.
- Reconcile invoices.
- Coordinate workshop production launches with the Workshop, Design and Technical teams.
- Track production schedules and updates.
- Manage contingencies and coordinate technical, quality, design, production and supplier stakeholders.
- Manage deliveries.
- Manage shipments and customs operations.
- Set up a tool to track design changes against budget.
Qualifications
- Currently studying a technical and/or business discipline at an engineering school, business school or university.
- Proficient with IT tools, particularly Excel and query tools, as well as information systems.
- Able to apply strong organizational skills and rigor to projects through documentation and analytical capabilities.
- Enjoys hands-on work and craftsmanship and is field-oriented.
- Curious, responsive and flexible, with strong operational aptitude.
- Recognized for strong interpersonal skills and personal qualities.
- Fluent in English.
- Knowledge of design and the high-end craft sector is an advantage.
