Hermès Horizons (Pantin) seeks a Project Engineer Intern for a 6‑month full‑time internship in project and supply‑chain operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support project framing and organisation: define team, scope, roles, responsibilities and budget follow‑up.
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders (design, technique, quality, production, suppliers) and relay alerts to dedicated teams.
  • Animate and maintain weekly project planning and status follow‑ups; progressively manage an autonomous portfolio of projects.
  • Support design and conception activities: assist creative teams, prepare risk analyses, and define industrialization plans for materials and products.
  • Drive industrial development and quality assurance for Collection products including costing, product codification and preparation of quotes.
  • Manage procurement-related tasks: gather purchasing specifications, launch orders, follow up on supplier deliveries and reconcile invoices.
  • Oversee production follow‑up: obtain production authorisations with Atelier, Design and Technical teams; update schedules and track progress; manage contingencies.
  • Coordinate logistics: manage deliveries, shipments and customs processes; act as liaison with retail stores.
  • Propose and implement process‑improvement tools and decision‑support dashboards for Supply Chain (orders, procurement, logistics) and track design changes versus budget.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an engineering school, business school or university in a technical or commercial program.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, autonomous, adaptable and comfortable in a changing operational environment.
  • Strong organisational skills, rigor, formalisation and analytical capability.
  • Good interpersonal skills and proven ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional teams.
  • Practical interest in manual work and artisanal craft; field‑oriented.
  • Fluent English (spoken and written).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel, experience with query tools and enterprise information systems.
  • Knowledge of design and high‑end craftwork is a plus.

Experience

Student-level experience: currently enrolled in an engineering, business school or university program; some academic or internship exposure to project management, supply chain or production processes is expected. Practical or workshop experience with artisanal techniques is an advantage.
