Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor production performance against forecasts and analyse key performance indicators (quality, productivity, absenteeism) to identify variances and implement corrective actions
- Organise daily workshop operations aligned with team capabilities and manufacturing priorities
- Ensure adherence to established best practices, processes, and quality standards for all finished products
- Develop and oversee workshop training plans to enhance team expertise, versatility, and operational agility
- Champion product and process improvements, lead new model launches, and establish conditions for successful implementation
- Set clear objectives for direct reports balancing individual development with manufacturing and customer priorities
- Support team members' professional growth and career trajectory in alignment with Hermès values and craftsmanship standards
- Foster transparent internal communications and maintain a positive workshop climate
- Lead and empower teams through authentic leadership, encouraging accountability and ownership
- Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and actively cultivate a safety-first culture

- Promote the musculoskeletal disorder prevention programme through leadership initiatives and best-practice sharing

- Lead cross-functional projects at manufacture and cluster levels (skills transfer, technical initiatives, HSE programmes)
- Actively participate in the manufacturing leadership team's strategic and operational discussions
Qualifications
- Master's degree or equivalent (Bac +5)
- Proven team management experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a structured business setting
- Demonstrated capacity to build and manage cohesive teams
- Strong production management and objective-achievement mindset
- Excellent listening, openness, and coaching abilities
- Creative problem-solving with adaptability and agility
- Self-directed with maturity and capacity for strategic perspective

Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years of professional experience, ideally in an industrial manufacturing setting with evidence of successful team management and production oversight. Prior experience in luxury goods, artisanal production, or heritage craftsmanship is advantageous.
Education
Master's degree (Bac +5) or equivalent qualification in engineering, management, industrial sciences, or related field.
