Hermès Production Scheduler position in Pantin, France—5-month contract managing women's ready-to-wear supply chain operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Negotiate and optimize delivery schedules with manufacturers, integrating business priorities and production constraints
- Coordinate weekly arbitration meetings with Production and Procurement teams; anticipate and mitigate delivery delays and supply chain risks
- Manage the full portfolio of purchase orders: oversee order launches, ensure compliance of delivery documents, and resolve receipt anomalies
- Maintain stock reliability for components held by manufacturers and oversee seasonal return flows
- Deliver rigorous weekly reporting and contribute to the continuous enhancement of management and tracking tools
- Drive autonomous continuous improvement initiatives within the Supply Chain function
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' experience in production planning or supply chain management within ready-to-wear/apparel
- Mastery of production management processes and workflows in fashion manufacturing
- Proficiency with analytical tools, particularly Excel and ERP systems
- Demonstrated reputation for service orientation, proactivity, and ability to build consensus across stakeholder groups
- Strong organizational skills and capacity to balance multiple competing priorities
- Intellectual curiosity and commitment to continuous professional development
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain operations within the ready-to-wear or fashion apparel sector. Demonstrated competency in managing complex, multi-stakeholder production environments with tight timelines and competing priorities.
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (Bac+5 or higher); qualification in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline preferred.
