Role & Responsibilities
- Support suppliers during product industrialization, ensuring compliance with established quality criteria and proactive identification of risks and quality issues
- Manage quality by maintaining regular presence at manufacturing sites across Central Italy to monitor action plans and drive quality performance indicators
- Ensure Tier 1 and Tier 2 manufacturers comply with quality standards defined by the métier, identifying and implementing corrective action plans while safeguarding product style integrity and delivery timelines
- Evaluate and quantify production incidents in partnership with suppliers (sizing, workmanship, traceability) to provide comprehensive information to French Manufacturing teams
- Validate deviations from established standards under the supervision of French Manufacturing teams
- Support the management of non-quality returns and guide manufacturers through repair and return operations with technical guidance and compliance validation
- Lead product inspection activities at partner facilities
- Communicate progress on ongoing quality initiatives and drive monitoring of quality performance metrics
- Assess supplier capabilities against quality control requirements and provide continuous improvement support
Qualifications
- Significant professional experience in quality control for ready-to-wear production, specifically in prêt-à-porter luxury quality environments
- Demonstrated expertise in problem-solving and understanding of luxury quality requirements for finished goods
- Strong knowledge of quality standards, testing procedures, and supplier compliance methodologies
- Ability to work independently with high responsiveness and autonomy in a matrix organizational structure
