Hermès — Production Planner (Women's Ready-to-Wear) in Pantin, France. Fixed-term contract Sep 2026–Jan 2027 for a production and scheduling specialist.
Role & Responsibilities
- Negotiate and optimise suppliers' production and delivery schedules to meet business priorities and directional deadlines.
- Manage production launches and follow up on order progress across a portfolio of external manufacturers, ensuring on-time delivery to first-quality stock.
- Monitor and control component stocks at manufacturers, coordinate component distribution and manage return flows of residual stocks.
- Coordinate weekly with Production, Purchasing and Planning to arbitrate priorities and address supply, industrialisation or production disruptions.
- Maintain delivery data integrity and provide weekly reporting and analysis on deliveries, schedules and KPIs.
- Oversee the purchase order portfolio for production: ensure accurate launch execution, follow-up of delivery notes and manage reception anomalies with logistics providers.
- Collaborate with Finance to resolve invoicing issues while safeguarding agreed payment timelines.
- Drive continuous improvement projects in Supply Chain processes and tools, acting as a key user for planning, logistics and IT systems and leading initiatives to implementation.
Qualifications
- Master's degree (Bac+5) or equivalent in supply chain, industrial engineering, logistics or related field.
- Proven experience in production management within ready-to-wear (Prêt-à-Porter) apparel manufacturing.
- Excellent organisational discipline, strong numerical aptitude and analytical skills.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, data management) and proficiency with Outlook.
- Experience with ERP systems; familiarity with APS (Advanced Planning Systems) is a plus.
- High degree of proactivity, service orientation and result-driven mindset.
- Strong team player with effective communication skills.
- Professional command of English; working knowledge of Italian appreciated.

Demonstrable experience managing production workflows and supplier relationships in the ready-to-wear apparel sector; comfortable handling capacity analysis, launch management and delivery follow-up with external manufacturers.
