Hermès Maroquinerie Production Planner (5-month contract) in Pantin, France. Supply chain role managing manufacturing across multiple leather goods facilities.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure short-term production load coverage (8–12 weeks) and reliable conformity completion
- Analyse medium-term projected inventory and identify deviations across a 3–6 month horizon
- Construct alternative scenarios with the planning lead and supply team in response to capacity alerts; adapt product mix and coordinate inter-site compensations
- Serve as the primary interface between production sites and central functions (supply, materials, contract manufacturers, technical quality), acting as site representative at the corporate level
- Monitor and report on production site delivery performance through weekly and monthly indicator dashboards, ensuring production plan execution
- Prioritise manufacturing activities based on business priorities defined by planning leads, monthly site reviews, and new product launches and client events
- Conduct deep-dive analysis of load, capacity, and performance data to identify variances, anticipate trends, and recommend structured action plans that enhance production plan reliability
- Travel to French production sites approximately twice monthly to support operational governance
Qualifications
- Degree in engineering or equivalent higher education qualification
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience
- Strong ERP process comprehension and Advanced Excel proficiency
- Power BI familiarity
- Demonstrated analytical capability: capacity to interpret complex datasets, identify variances, and formulate operational recommendations
- Rigorous, detail-oriented approach with proven ability to ensure data and process integrity
