Hermès seeks Production Manager for footwear operations in Pantin, France. Fixed-term contract managing manufacturing partners and seasonal collections.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage production schedules and capacity planning in coordination with manufacturing partners in Italy and France, ensuring adherence to lead times and seasonal timelines.
- Serve as primary contact for manufacturing partners, communicating priorities and facilitating regular production review meetings with development, procurement, and quality teams.
- Monitor manufacturing performance through KPI tracking and organize seasonal performance reviews with production sites.
- Oversee purchase order portfolio management including order launches, clearance items, and press collections, and manage purchase order closure procedures.
- Supervise compliance of delivery documentation with logistics partner and manage receipt anomalies.
- Coordinate barcode label provision to manufacturers according to production requirements and manage cut/consumption data tracking.
- Prepare comprehensive production meeting agendas and deliver reporting on delivery data and production schedules.
- Conduct on-site manufacturing audits and relationship management, including regular visits to Italian production facilities.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of professional experience in production management or production planning.
- Strong fluency in Italian (strongly preferred).
- Demonstrated knowledge of footwear manufacturing processes (preferred).
- Proficiency in enterprise resource planning systems (M3, PLM) and business intelligence tools (Power BI).
- Excellent analytical and synthesis capabilities with strong attention to detail.
- Proactive problem-solving orientation with demonstrated ability to effect operational improvements.

Experience
Minimum 2–3 years of professional experience in production management, production planning, or manufacturing operations. Familiarity with luxury goods manufacturing, footwear production processes, or supplier management strongly advantageous.
