Hermès — Pantin, France: Production Business Analyst (contract) supporting production managers, ERP, KPI and process improvement.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support production managers in piloting the external manufacturing base for women's ready-to-wear and in optimising production activity across seasons.
  • Produce strategic analyses for medium- and long-term production planning and propose preliminary action plans to the Production leadership.
  • Ensure data reliability and integration into the ERP, maintaining and updating operational documents such as capacity and cutting sheets.
  • Define, implement and monitor KPIs and ad hoc analyses required by production teams to steer performance.
  • Design and deliver dynamic, intuitive dashboards and data-distribution tools to accelerate decision-making and automate routine reporting.
  • Identify industrial performance levers, structure processes to increase efficiency and propose automation opportunities.
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects (industrialisation, traceability, material purchasing tool implementation and purchase tracking enhancement).

Qualifications

  • Degree from a business school or engineering school.
  • First professional experience as a Business Analyst—preferably in production, apparel or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and proven affinity with information systems and ERP environments.
  • Highly organised, rigorous and able to anticipate operational needs.
  • Service-oriented with a collaborative mindset and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Interest in ready-to-wear and artisanal production methods.

Skills

ERP data analysis KPI development and monitoring dashboard design and reporting process improvement and automation data governance and validation tool implementation (e.g., material purchasing tool)

Experience

A first professional experience as a business analyst is expected; experience in production, manufacturing or apparel environments is strongly preferred.
