Hermès seeks a Production Assistant to support window display design and fabrication in Paris. Six-month internship combining creative and technical coordination.
Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor window display décor projects from conception through delivery, ensuring alignment with creative and technical specifications
- Coordinate communications between design teams, workshops, artisans, and production partners; attend manufacturing site visits and production reviews
- Refine technical execution of displays by evaluating fabrication constraints, transportation logistics, and installation requirements
- Organize multi-disciplinary project meetings; prepare meeting minutes, visit reports, and progress-tracking documentation
- Contribute to the creation of technical drawings and graphic supports for workshops and manufacturing partners
- Assist with physical installation preparation of displays in retail spaces
- Support the development of presentation books and project portfolios
- Bring meticulous attention to detail to all project deliverables
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or having recently completed a degree in design, scenography, interior architecture, applied arts, or equivalent creative production-focused program
- Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Rhinoceros, and Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and adapt to unforeseen production challenges
- Keen interest in materials, artisanal techniques, and manufacturing processes
- Ability to collaborate effectively with both creative and technical stakeholders
