Hermès Product Regulatory Project Assistant internship in Paris, supporting product compliance standards, regulatory procedures and monitoring.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Update the Group’s lists of restricted substances and related documents, including working versions, historical records, and practical and operational guides.
  • Help structure procedures relating to regulations and associated analyses of product and component/material impacts.
  • With support from the regulatory team, help the métiers achieve objectives linked to new product regulations.
  • Monitor proposed new regulations.
  • Take on occasional additional assignments or topics related to current matters within the Industrial, Technical and Innovation Department.

Qualifications

  • Currently studying at a general engineering school or university, undertaking a final-year internship or gap-year placement.
  • Ideally, knowledge of regulatory topics such as REACH, chemical risks, or Chinese standards, and/or continuous improvement.
  • Strong synthesis skills, rigor, organizational skills, initiative, autonomy, and analytical ability.
  • Enjoys teamwork and customer satisfaction, with a service-oriented mindset.
  • Constructive approach and strong writing and interpersonal skills.
  • Good command of IT tools, including the Office suite and collaborative working tools.
