Hermès seeks an experienced Product Development Manager for Leather Goods in Pantin, France. Lead end-to-end collection development across Men's and Travel categories (full-time, CDI).

Role & Responsibilities

  • Pilot project collections from conception through market launch, establishing project roadmaps, priorities, and key milestones
  • Anticipate industrialization and production challenges during the design phase and manage development progression across all stages
  • Monitor and drive project performance against KPIs and time-to-market objectives while tracking strategic and operational trade-offs
  • Serve as the central coordination hub for the product universe, identifying friction points and resolving cross-functional misalignments between creative, artisanal, materials, and commercial teams
  • Lead key governance forums and steering committees, escalating strategic decisions and arbitrating resource allocation across the product portfolio
  • Manage the development and industrialization workload, ensuring feasibility and capacity planning across the value chain
  • Monitor and steward budgets at the Men's and Travel universe level while contributing to business performance metrics
  • Embody the product universe vision and foster engagement across internal teams, production facilities, and suppliers through regular, inspiring communication
  • Ensure alignment with the Artisanal Hub and champion cross-functional strategy execution in complex, multi-stakeholder environments

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree from an engineering school, business school, or equivalent
  • Minimum 8 years of experience managing complex projects in industrial or product-driven environments
  • Demonstrated natural leadership ability and capacity to align cross-functional teams without direct hierarchy
