Hermès Maison seeks Data Manager for governance and transformation projects in Pantin, France. Lead data quality and systems integration across MDM, ERP, PLM.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as the functional data expert and primary reference for data matters across development, supply chain, commercial, and finance teams
  • Oversee creation, modification, and deletion of data within systems; monitor and resolve data interface malfunctions
  • Lead annual data review initiatives, including deactivation of obsolete product references and structuring of out-of-system data for integration
  • Develop and implement data quality control tools and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track data integrity across MDM, ERP, and PLM
  • Animate data quality initiatives on the finished product master file (MDM), production ERP systems, and PLM; conduct quality audits such as industrial cost-of-goods assessments
  • Establish and maintain documentation of key data-related processes and governance frameworks, including data dictionaries and business rules
  • Support the pole through transformation projects by managing governance framework deployment, validating project specifications related to data, and ensuring operational alignment
  • Lead data migration initiatives and participate in testing phases for new tool deployments (BI reporting systems, KPI implementation)
  • Coordinate with the Group Product Data Manager on governance improvements, staff training, and evolution requirements for data systems
  • Provide training to new personnel on data context, usage, and tools; maintain and disseminate reference materials on procedures and standards

Qualifications

  • Master's degree or equivalent from a university, business school, or engineering institution
  • Minimum 6 years of professional experience in data management and transformation projects involving master data
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel
  • Functional knowledge of ERP, PLM, and Power BI systems (familiarity with M3 is advantageous)
  • Pedagogical approach with strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust across diverse stakeholders
  • Rigorous methodology with analytical, synthetic, and documentation capabilities
  • Adaptability and capacity to thrive in a complex, demanding, and dynamic environment
