Role & Responsibilities
- Define and document the quality expectations associated with each leather repair service and ensure their dissemination to repair ateliers.
- Develop, calculate and animate quality KPIs for the leather repair activity and monitor performance trends.
- Ensure consistency of inspection and control methods throughout the repair flow and maintain relevant quality referentials.
- Structure and maintain the technical knowledge tree for repair techniques; translate best practices into modes opératoires and training booklets.
- Pilot the validation process for repair procedures and register validated methods in a secure shared tool.
- Define methods to determine standard times for repair operations and measure time and material consumption with technical referents.
- Build and populate a technical product database (nomenclatures, routings, operation gammes) in collaboration with Controlling and Supply Chain to feed the future repair ERP.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an engineering programme at Bac+5 (master’s level) and eligible for alternance / apprenticeship.
- Autonomous, methodical and well organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and daily priorities.
- Demonstrated leadership potential and strong teamworking skills; service‑oriented with good interpersonal aptitude.
- Rigorous, reliable, proactive and comfortable with field work and regular site interactions (monthly travel in France).
- Prior exposure to an ERP is advantageous.
Skills
Experience
Open to beginners; intended for a Bac+5 engineering student. Prior practical experience in production, quality, or ERP projects is a plus but not required.
Education
Bac+5 (Master’s level) engineering student enrolled in an apprenticeship/alternance programme.
