Fixed-term Procurement Specialist – ERP role in Pantin, France. Support ERP implementation and manage supplier portfolios.
Role & Responsibilities
- Co-manage a supplier portfolio in collaboration with the Head of Procurement and drive procurement performance across assigned categories
- Negotiate purchase prices, terms, and conditions; conduct and manage tender processes through to contract execution
- Manage and resolve commercial and financial disputes with suppliers
- Conduct proactive market surveillance focused on supplier capabilities, technological innovations, and pricing trends
- Support Technical Development teams during new product creation and sourcing decisions
- Lead sourcing projects including supplier identification, qualification, tender management, cost control, and schedule monitoring
- Participate in supplier HSE audits and oversee implementation of associated corrective action plans
- Define, formalize, and document procurement processes (current-state and future-state) in preparation for ERP deployment
- Propose harmonized procurement practices across different business units and product categories
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Procurement, Finance, IT) on ERP implementation and data quality initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree (BAC+5) from a university, business school, or engineering school with procurement specialization
- Minimum 2 years of professional procurement experience, preferably within organizations with structured procurement processes
- Prior exposure to ERP implementation or business transformation projects (strongly preferred)
- Mastery of procurement techniques and supplier negotiation methodology
- Proficiency with ERP systems and procurement modules (SAP, Oracle, Ivalua)
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to structure, document, and harmonize processes
- Demonstrated capability to manage multi-stakeholder project environments
Skills
Experience
Minimum 2 years of procurement experience, ideally within organizations with established and structured procurement processes. Prior involvement in ERP implementation or organizational transformation projects is highly valued.
Education
Master's degree (BAC+5) from a university, business school, or engineering school, with specialization in procurement, supply chain management, or a related discipline.
