Hermès seeks an experienced Procurement Coordination Manager for a fixed-term contract in France to coordinate direct buying across all métiers and support strategic sourcing initiatives.
Role & Responsibilities
- Animate and coordinate the network of direct buyers across the house, fostering knowledge-sharing and best-practice dissemination
- Develop, deploy, and communicate procurement tools, templates, and procedures across all métiers and business units
- Lead buyer onboarding and ongoing training programs, including participation in group-wide procurement projects
- Facilitate cross-functional procurement committees and working groups with Legal, Indirect Procurement, Health & Safety, and other departments
- Support métier-specific procurement teams in formalizing and executing their strategic roadmaps and category sourcing strategies
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with direct procurement procedures across the organization
- Organize and animate multi-métier/entity meetings for common supplier management, information-sharing, and group-level procurement decisions
- Prepare and present annual direct procurement conference and regular excellence forums for best-practice sharing
- Provide operational and strategic support to buyers for category strategy development, covering approximately 150 purchasing categories (50 of which are strategically significant)
Qualifications
- Master's degree (Bac+5) with specialization in Procurement or Supply Chain Management
- Minimum 10 years of successful experience in procurement and project management
- Fluent English; Italian is a strong advantage
- Demonstrable expertise in procurement tools, methodologies, and Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
- Proven track record of stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration
- Strong presentation and communication skills, both written and oral
- Experience with supplier mapping, risk assessment, and category strategy development

Minimum 10 years of professional experience in procurement and sourcing, with demonstrated success in managing complex supplier networks and leading cross-functional procurement initiatives within a luxury or multinational manufacturing environment.
Education
Master's degree (Bac+5 or equivalent) in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
