Hermès seeks a Process Development Engineering Intern in Pantin to structure adhesive application procedures in leather goods manufacturing.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead validation projects for new adhesive formulations in collaboration with manufacturing site requirements
  • Identify and analyze key parameters influencing adhesive-related manufacturing and quality issues
  • Structure and organize technical documentation related to adhesive processes and application standards
  • Support the Tools and Processes Unit in building internal expertise on adhesive chemistry and application methodology
  • Conduct field assessments at leather goods manufacturing facilities to diagnose process challenges

Qualifications

  • Final-year engineering student, preferably chemistry or materials science specialization
  • Previous internship or temporary work experience in an industrial setting
  • Knowledge of problem-solving methodologies and quality management frameworks
  • Understanding of polymer chemistry fundamentals (advantageous)
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative capabilities
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
