Hermès Parfum et Beauté seeks a Press and Influence Attaché intern in Paris for a six-month full-time internship beginning January 2027.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute press and influence initiatives on the French market
- Manage press inquiries and coordinate journalist requests for press kits, visuals, and captions
- Track press relations initiatives including interviews, press listings, and local events
- Support press and influencer presentations including briefing and coordination
- Monitor and record daily French press coverage via Kantar and Media Estimation tools
- Compile and analyze press reviews and media clippings
- Report on influencer activations including product placement, international and local events
- Coordinate and organize press and influencer meetings in Paris
- Provide logistics support for press relations, influencer engagement, and public relations events
- Assist in orchestrating interviews with brand talent in-person and remotely
- Manage product orders and track quotations
- Maintain inventory of perfume and beauty products including ordering and packaging
- Produce quarterly newsletter on product launches and press updates for internal stakeholders
- Conduct beauty and perfume market analysis
Qualifications
- Previous six-month internship experience in press or communications (strongly preferred)
- Currently enrolled in a Business School, Communications program, University, or IAE (French management institute)
- Strong understanding of press dynamics and luxury beauty market particularities
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Autonomous, reactive, detail-oriented with strong prioritization capability
- Excellent interpersonal skills, diplomatic approach, and discretion
- Genuine curiosity about the beauty and fragrance sector
Skills
Experience
Six months of prior experience in a similar press or communications function is strongly appreciated; however, beginners are accepted.
Education
Currently pursuing or holding a degree from a Business School, Communications program, University, or equivalent French management institution (IAE).
