Création JMC seeks an experienced Polisher for Hermès Bijouterie in Chessy (77), France. 5-month fixed-term contract in jewelry finishing and polishing.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Execute polishing and finishing operations on jewelry pieces, including pre-polishing, threading, rhodium plating, and surface treatments
  • Perform specialized finishing techniques according to piece-specific requirements and technical specifications
  • Identify surface defects and perform necessary corrective work to meet quality standards
  • Conduct visual quality inspections at each production stage to ensure compliance with standards
  • Follow operational procedures and maintain adherence to quality standards throughout the manufacturing process
  • Collaborate with the jewelry team in workshop organization and work alongside the jeweler in paired operations
  • Report technical anomalies, challenges, and quality issues to the designated supervisor or quality team
  • Execute rhodium plating and surface finishing operations in alignment with jewelry and quality department requirements

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in jewelry polishing, preferably in a high-standard luxury environment
  • Full technical autonomy in polishing operations from pre-treatment through final finishing
  • Mastery of multiple finishing techniques and ability to adapt methodology to individual pieces
  • Proven capability in rhodium plating operations, including piece preparation and surface inspection
  • Familiarity with jewelry manufacturing standards and quality protocols
