Role & Responsibilities
- Execute all stages of polishing and finishing operations on jewelry pieces, including pre-polishing, threading, plating, and surface treatment
- Perform specific finishing techniques in accordance with piece specifications and quality requirements
- Identify potential defects at each stage and execute necessary corrections and rework
- Conduct visual quality control of pieces throughout the production process
- Adhere to operational procedures, quality standards, and technical specifications
- Collaborate with the jewelry team in maintaining workshop organization and workflow
- Report anomalies, technical difficulties, and quality issues to designated supervisors or quality management
- Execute rhodium plating and surface finishing operations whilst respecting procedural protocols and technical parameters
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of professional polishing experience, ideally within a luxury or high-end jewelry environment
- Demonstrated mastery of pre-polishing through final finishing processes
- Proficiency in rhodium plating and surface finishing techniques
- Proven ability to manage pieces independently from initial stage to completion
- Strong visual quality assessment and defect identification skills
- Technical autonomy and capacity to adapt methodology to individual piece requirements
