Role & Responsibilities
- Manage the Hermès Contemporary Photography Collection through acquisition coordination, legal and administrative documentation, and annual inventory compilation
- Oversee collection circulation with international transport logistics, storage management, conservation compliance, and preventive conservation recommendations
- Coordinate internal display installations across Hermès premises, including production oversight and administrative and budgetary tracking
- Administer the Foundation's Latitudes photography programme, managing international partnerships, exhibitions, portfolio reviews, and editorial projects
- Process and evaluate photography support applications on the Foundation's dedicated platform, draft partnership conventions, and monitor administrative compliance and counterpart deliverables
- Prospect photographers in collaboration with designated advisors for upcoming installations and programmes
- Lead and mentor an apprenticeship team member assisting with collection and programme responsibilities
Qualifications
- Minimum one successful professional experience (permanent or fixed-term contract) in a related curatorial or collections management role
- Strong knowledge of photography as a medium and demonstrated interest in contemporary cultural sectors
- Competency in standard collection management principles: artwork handling, condition reports, conservation planning, storage protocols, installation and deinstallation procedures
- Proficiency with documentation systems including databases, inventory management, and archives
- Fluent English and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Interest in arts patronage and project development
- Prior experience supervising interns or apprentices preferred

Minimum one successful professional experience in a related collections management, curatorial, or visual arts sector role, demonstrating proficiency in collection stewardship and project development in a cultural or heritage organisation. Experience with international partnerships, exhibition coordination, or patronage programme management is advantageous.
Education
Graduate-level qualification in art history, museum studies, curatorial practice, heritage management, or a related cultural field is expected.
