Hermès Sellier in Le Pré-Saint-Gervais seeks a Payroll Manager to lead payroll operations (≈7,500 pays) and payroll projects.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a payroll team of approximately 17 payroll administrators, ensuring delivery of circa 7,500 monthly payrolls with strict reliability and cadence.
- Assure full compliance with French legal and social security requirements and uphold group rules and values across multiple entities.
- Act as primary payroll partner for the HR network: provide technical counsel, respond to complex payroll queries and drive continuous improvement based on factual KPIs.
- Contribute to the design, formalisation and enforcement of payroll processes, procedures and documentation in collaboration with payroll specialists.
- Steer HRIS/SIRH deployment and adoption for payroll modules, coordinating with IT and payroll experts to deliver projects on schedule.
- Oversee management of IJSS/IJ service cases and prévoyance schemes, monitor and report monthly indicators to accounting, controlling and HR, and manage quarterly loss reviews.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years' progressive experience in payroll, including responsibility for large-scale payroll operations.
- Proven experience managing and coaching teams of payroll professionals and operating in project mode (SIRH/HRIS deployments).
- Deep knowledge of French payroll legislation, social charges, and absence/benefit schemes (IJSS, prévoyance).
- Excellent analytical rigour, organisational discipline and the ability to formalise procedures clearly and accessibly.
- Absolute discretion and respect for confidentiality.
- Fluent French (spoken and written).

Experience
At least 10 years of payroll experience with demonstrated accountability for large-volume payroll (≈7,500 pays), proven people management, and participation in HRIS/SIRH implementation projects.
Education
Higher education degree in human resources, payroll, accounting, finance or equivalent.
