Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee the complete payroll cycle from employee entry to departure, including data integration, processing of variable elements (absences, bonuses, indemnities), and salary slip verification
  • Collect, verify, and manage personnel administration and payroll data with precision to ensure legal and regulatory compliance
  • Process and control social declarations (DSN) and communications with social bodies (social security, insurance providers)
  • Manage personnel absences including illness, maternity leave, and complex cases impacting payroll calculations
  • Handle daily benefit settlements (IJSS) and coordinate with social security and supplemental insurance organizations
  • Process and document employee life events (marriage, childcare needs, death, retirement, parental leave, seniority recognition)
  • Prepare separation calculations, attestations, contracts, and contract amendments
  • Provide cross-functional support to HR managers and team members on payroll expertise, legal compliance, and HR system navigation (GTA, SIRH)
  • Contribute to HR process improvements, procedure documentation, payroll system transitions, and internal payroll communications

Qualifications

  • Baccalauréat +2 to +3 qualification (BTS or Professional Licence) with specialization in payroll management
  • Proficiency in office software and payroll systems
  • Thorough knowledge of current payroll regulations and French labor law
  • Familiarity with social security legislation and the chemical industries collective agreement
  • Ability to interpret and implement negotiated collective agreement provisions
  • Capacity to explain technical and legal terminology clearly to non-specialist audiences
