Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end development of packaging and printed materials from requirement capture to commercial availability, ensuring solutions meet functionality, esthetic and sustainability standards.
  • Coordinate and run product testing sessions with internal métiers and stakeholders; collect, analyse and formalise technical and experiential requirements.
  • Define project objectives, establish and maintain project timelines and retro-planning, animate project meetings and ensure delivery against milestones.
  • Work closely with suppliers and internal Purchasing and Supply teams to monitor developments, follow up quality tests and control tooling and development costs.
  • Maintain and update internal and shared packaging reference and tracking files; create new references and provide procurement-ready documentation.
  • Conduct market and materials watch by visiting suppliers and professional shows to source innovations and drive product rationalisation.
  • Implement and deploy quality procedures with suppliers and perform regular and ad hoc production controls to guarantee packaging durability and conformity.
  • Manage supplier relations to mitigate technical and commercial dependency risks and ensure reliable supply.
  • Provide regular, detailed reporting on activity, identify continuous-improvement opportunities and contribute to the definition of the Packaging strategy.
  • Line-manage an alternating trainee (apprentice) and provide day-to-day guidance and development.

Qualifications

  • Higher education from a business school, art school or design school with strong knowledge of packaging.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in an equivalent position, preferably in packaging development within luxury goods or premium product environments.
  • Fluent in French and working proficiency in English.
  • Demonstrated proactivity, leadership, strong attention to detail, rigour and a pronounced interest in product quality.
  • Ability to organise, work collaboratively across functions, respect deadlines and perform under pressure.

Experience
