Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee all back-of-house operations including shipping & receiving, inventory control, cycle counts and reconciliations; resolve receiving issues and discrepancies.
- Manage and coach operational teams (inventory control associates, SSA, after-sales staff, housekeeping, asset protection and vendors); maintain accurate time & attendance records and scheduling via E-time.
- Ensure compliance with cash-handling procedures and support retail management during podiums, vacations or managerial absences.
- Partner with the Managing Director to implement operational processes, training programmes and service standards that support boutique efficiency and client experience.
- Administer vendor relationships and maintenance requests; liaise with corporate construction/maintenance, IT and external suppliers to ensure building, phone and IT systems meet company standards.
- Prepare and execute inventories and cycle counts; perform stock adjustments and manage after-sales supply orders.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness (evacuation drills) and maintain health & safety protocols.
- Own adherence to operational budgets for supplies, contracts and services; identify cost-efficiencies and work with corporate departments on budget expectations.
- Recruit and maintain an active talent pool for operational roles; oversee staff sales and related operational initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of retail management experience in a comparable role; prior luxury retail experience preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in shipping & receiving operations and inventory control.
- Proven supervisory experience managing multi-disciplinary operational teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative management style.
- Practical experience with building maintenance and vendor management.
- Ability to work under pressure, multi-task with accuracy and lift up to 25 lbs.

Five or more years of progressive retail management responsibility—including direct oversight of inventory control, shipping & receiving, vendor and facilities coordination—preferably within a luxury retail environment.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business, retail management or a related field preferred.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 79,123 to USD 96,706 per annum.
