Role & Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all administrative back‑office functions for two Berlin boutiques, including goods receipt postings, invoice control and cash desk preparation.
- Lead and coach logistics and administrative teams; organise day‑to‑day workflows and allocate resources to meet operational targets.
- Own inventory governance: plan and prepare cycle counts and full inventories, analyse stock KPIs and implement corrective measures to optimise shrinkage and accuracy.
- Support the Store Manager in monitoring stock levels and preparing purchase orders to ensure assortment and replenishment needs are met.
- Report operational performance and stock-related issues to the Store Manager and relevant corporate partners.
- Collaborate closely with the Customer Service Centre in Paris and the Head Office in Munich to align processes and resolve cross-border operational matters.
- Provide sales floor and after‑sales support when required, maintaining Hermès service standards in client interactions.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' professional experience in retail operations, inventory control or logistics — preferably within luxury retail.
- Proven knowledge of back‑office retail processes: goods receipt, invoice reconciliation, cash closings and after‑sales workflows.
- Demonstrable experience leading small operational teams and coordinating multi‑site activities.
- Fluent English; professional working proficiency in German is a strong advantage.
- Comfortable working in an omnichannel environment and with merchandise management systems.
Skills
Experience
At least 3 years of hands‑on experience in retail operations, inventory or logistics management, ideally in a premium or luxury environment; experience coordinating with central offices and customer service centres is preferred.
Education
Vocational qualification in retail or business administration, or a degree in retail management, business or a related discipline — or equivalent professional experience.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Berlin, Berlin, Germany.
