Hermès (Hermès of Paris) in Bellevue, WA is hiring an Operations Manager to lead store operations, inventory control and facilities for the boutique.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee all back-of-house operations including shipping & receiving, inventory control, cycle counts and stock reconciliations; resolve receiving discrepancies and negative-on-hand situations.
- Manage and coach operational teams (inventory control associates, SSA, housekeeping, asset protection, after‑sales staff and external craftspeople), including scheduling, training, time & attendance (E‑time) and performance documentation.
- Administer cash handling procedures and ensure compliance with company policies; act in support of the Managing Director and cover in their absence.
- Own vendor relationships and coordinate maintenance, construction and third‑party services to ensure store and building standards are maintained.
- Manage IT and phone‑system issues in coordination with corporate contacts to maintain operational continuity.
- Plan, prepare and execute inventory counts and reconciliations; perform stock adjustments and oversee after‑sales supply orders.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness (evacuation drills) and ensure health & safety protocols are communicated and practiced.
- Administer staff sales, recruit for operational roles and maintain an active talent bank.
- Partner with corporate departments to plan and operate within annual budget guidelines for operational categories (supplies, maintenance, guards, repairs).
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of retail management experience in a comparable role; prior experience in a luxury retail environment preferred.
- Proven experience in shipping & receiving and inventory control.
- Strong vendor management and building maintenance experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and acute interpersonal ability.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, multi‑task with accuracy and lead collaboratively.

Experience
Minimum 6 years of progressive retail management experience; luxury boutique or premium retail background strongly preferred. Demonstrable shipping & receiving and inventory-control expertise required.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business, retail management or related discipline preferred.

The successful candidate will be located in Bellevue, Washington, USA, with easy access to Seattle.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 95,000 to USD 106,000 per annum.
