Hermès Taiwan — Taipei: Operations and Internal Control Coordinator (VIE), 12‑month contract starting Sep 2026. Report to the CFO; support SAP Retail deployment.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support daily operational processes and follow up on outstanding operational matters across boutiques, specialty stores and e‑commerce.
  • Contribute to the preparation, deployment and post‑go‑live support of SAP Retail; coordinate project tasks with IT, Merchandising, Procurement and Operations.
  • Maintain and update standard operating procedures (SOPs); document process flows and control matrices.
  • Assist with internal control testing, identify risks and control gaps arising from process or framework changes, and follow up corrective actions.
  • Prepare internal control and operational risk reports for the CFO and management; monitor remediation progress and report exposure.
  • Coordinate cross‑departmental issues, support automation and system enhancement initiatives, and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Business or a related field.
  • 1–3 years’ relevant experience in operations, finance, audit or compliance (preferable).
  • Eligibility for the French VIE programme: citizen of an EEA country or Switzerland; aged 18–28 at registration; not previously completed a VIE; meet Business France administrative requirements.
  • Fluent French (mandatory) and working knowledge of English; Chinese (Mandarin) is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, documentation and organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Team‑oriented with strong interpersonal and coordination skills.

Experience

1–3 years of professional experience in operations, finance, internal audit or compliance, preferably within retail or luxury goods environments.

Education

Master’s degree in Business or a related discipline.
