Fixed-term Occupational Health Nurse position at luxury leather goods manufacturer in Val de Reuil, Normandy. Full-time role reporting to HSE Director.
Role & Responsibilities
- Organize and coordinate medical surveillance visits, including follow-up monitoring and management of medical restrictions and occupational fitness determinations
- Conduct initial ergonomic workplace assessments, including job profiling and individual workstation evaluations for employees with adaptation difficulties
- Perform routine biological sampling and clinical examinations (ECG, audiometry, vision testing, respiratory function assessments) according to identified occupational hazards
- Provide first aid, emergency response coordination, and workplace injury care; manage medical supplies, pharmacy inventory, and clinical waste (DASRI) disposal
- Execute individual and collective health promotion initiatives addressing lifestyle factors, occupational hazards, and public health topics including noise exposure, cardiovascular health, sleep hygiene, and substance abuse prevention
- Lead joint health and safety committee (CSSCT) participation and epidemiological investigations related to occupational health trends
- Maintain comprehensive medical records and registers; manage occupational health documentation systems and produce annual nursing activity reports
- Conduct primary-level occupational risk assessment and prevention activities in collaboration with the HSE team and works council
- Support vulnerable employee populations including pregnant workers, workers with disabilities, and those with chronic conditions requiring workplace accommodations
- Coordinate with the occupational physician on nursing protocols, nursing interviews, vaccinations (occupational health), and clinical procedures per medical prescription
Qualifications
- State Diploma in Nursing (Diplôme d'Etat d'Infirmier)
- Specialized Diploma in Occupational Health (DIUST) or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum 5 years of clinical nursing experience in hospital or corporate occupational health settings
- Strong knowledge of medical protocols, infection control procedures, and clinical documentation standards
- Demonstrated understanding of French occupational health and safety regulations (Code du Travail, CSSCT procedures)

Minimum 5 years of clinical nursing experience in hospital or occupational health settings, with proven ability to manage comprehensive employee health surveillance programs, workplace risk assessments, and health promotion initiatives in a manufacturing or artisanal production environment.
Education
State Diploma in Nursing (Diplôme d'Etat d'Infirmier) required. Specialized Diploma in Occupational Health (DIUST) or equivalent professional development in occupational health preferred.
