Hermès Occupational Health Coordinator role in Seoul, supporting employee health, workplace hygiene and occupational health compliance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage occupational health and perform legally mandated duties in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act and related regulations.
- Maintain statutory health records and documentation.
- Monitor changes to occupational health laws and regulations and support their implementation across the company.
- Manage employee health and coordinate health examinations; provide follow-up care for employees with findings and support necessary health measures.
- Prevent and manage occupational diseases and work-related health conditions; provide employee health consultations and support management of work-related health issues.
- Manage hazardous exposures and health risks at headquarters and stores; conduct site inspections and support occupational health risk assessments.
- Run prevention activities for musculoskeletal disorders and job-related stress.
- Inspect and support improvements to workplace health conditions, including indoor air quality, ventilation, lighting, temperature and humidity.
- Inspect and improve hygiene in the canteen, rest areas and other shared spaces; manage workplace hygiene and health supplies.
- Coordinate with relevant departments, including Facilities, and external vendors to maintain a comfortable and hygienic workplace, and follow up on actions.
- Implement and support occupational health arrangements for emergency response at headquarters and stores; regularly inspect and maintain first-aid kits and supplies.
- Purchase and manage the stock and expiry dates of medicines and health supplies for headquarters and stores; maintain emergency equipment such as AEDs and support related training.
- Coordinate first-aid, health and safety training for employees.
- Plan and run employee health promotion, mental well-being and EAP programmes; manage health-screening providers, EAP partners and other external vendors.
- Collaborate with HR, Facilities and Retail Operations, and maintain related status information and data.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in workplace health management or occupational health.
- Eligible to be appointed as a health manager under the Occupational Safety and Health Act, with the required credentials, such as a nursing licence.
- Able to communicate and collaborate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Able to manage employee health matters attentively and carry out responsibilities with accountability.
- Able to travel to headquarters and stores and conduct on-site inspections.
- Proficient with MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- English communication skills preferred.
