Hermès Manufacture de Métaux — Metal Parts Development Assistant (apprenticeship) in Champigny‑sur‑Marne, France. 12‑month alternance from Sept 2026.
Role & Responsibilities
- Contribute to the industrialization of new metal products at the Champigny‑sur‑Marne site, supporting the full cycle from design to production launch.
- Prepare and update 3D models, technical drawings and comprehensive manufacturing dossiers.
- Perform industrial risk analyses, plan project phases and monitor milestone delivery against QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) and HSE indicators.
- Follow prototypes and pre‑series production, collect laboratory test feedback and report non‑conformities to project leads.
- Coordinate cross‑functional activities with engineering (BE), quality, production, purchasing and supply‑chain teams.
- Maintain and update product data in product data management systems and participate in project progress meetings.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an engineering programme at Bac+4/5 level (engineering school or equivalent).
- Working knowledge of SolidWorks, PDM, ERP and Pack Office.
- Valid driving licence (Permis B).
- High level of rigour, organisational discipline and a collaborative mindset.
- Previous experience or internship in the luxury sector is an advantage.
Skills
Experience
Open to beginners and engineering students in training (Bac+4/5). Prior internships or any exposure to product development or the luxury industry are a plus.
Education
Engineering degree in progress (Bac+4/5) — engineering school or equivalent.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Champigny-sur-Marne, Île-de-France, France, with easy access to Paris.
