Hermès seeks a merchandising planning intern for its Generation H program, supporting product allocation, inventory and store performance analysis, reporting, and Planning team administration. This in-person, full-time internship runs for five months from January 11 to June 28, 2027, is scheduled for 37.5 hours per week, and pays $20 per hour.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist the allocation team with product distribution to stores, including preparing and updating allocation and replenishment plans.
- Monitor store performance, sales trends, and inventory levels to identify opportunities and support post-season or ad hoc performance analysis.
- Track and monitor product flow, maintain store and inventory data, and support cross-functional projects.
- Help maintain reports, dashboards, and insights to support decision-making and contribute to process and tool improvements.
- Provide general administrative support to the Planning team as needed.
Qualifications
- Be enrolled in an associate, bachelor's, or master's degree program.
- Be proactive and self-starting, with the initiative to work independently and deliver results.
- Demonstrate creative problem-solving and strong communication skills.
- Have strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
- Luxury brand experience is an advantage.
- Expertise in Excel and PowerPoint is preferred.
