Hermès Merchandise Planner role in Sydney, supporting merchandise analysis, reporting, stock forecasting and allocation on a 6-month contract.
Role & Responsibilities
- Consolidate, publish and monitor daily, weekly, monthly and periodic sales evolution reports by Métier.
- Prepare and manage cyclical and ad hoc sales and stock performance reporting by Métier, providing the Merchandise Team and wider group with timely information to support commercial results.
- Analyse aged stock performance and drive actions to optimize stock investment.
- Coordinate and manage daily client orders and boutique queries from Store Managers, Operations Managers and back-of-house teams; own the client order management process, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution and an exceptional client experience.
- Support stock forecasting for reorderable lines and categories, owning the ordering process and stock portfolio.
- Support stock balancing through cyclical and ad hoc transfers between stores and globally.
- Support pricing management, reporting and template preparation for buying periods, business review meetings and exceptional and staff sales, and circulate interdepartmental communications initiated by the Merchandise Team.
- Handle daily merchandise-related queries and problem-solving for store teams and other departments.
- Assist with communication, monitoring and calculation of monthly sales incentive programs.
- Meet targets set during the annual appraisal or review, communicate with stakeholders in a timely manner, optimize subsidiary stock efficiency and contribute to the development of Hermès.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated interest in merchandise and emerging industry trends.
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, Fashion, Merchandising or a related field preferred.
- Full working rights in Australia.

Experience
Minimum 3 years; prior experience as a Planning or Merchandise Assistant is favourable.
Education
Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing, Fashion, Merchandising or a related field preferred.
